BLT: Local and Homemade

Mmmmm.
Tonight's dinner was heaven. And simple. The classic BLT. What made it so delicious? Homemade bread made an hour before, local tomatoes from Farm to Family, local spinach from my local farmer's market, a little bit of onion from my storage from last fall, and local bacon from Smith Family Farm.

DC Metro Screening of "Queen of the Sun"

I am honored to be hosting a screening of Queen of the Sun for DC Metro area. There will be a reception before provided by local restaurants and wineries and a few knowledgable folks to answer questions and comments afterwards.
